The world’s first LGBTQ+ mariachi band meets Los Angeles’ historic gay marching band to create a sonic fusion of Mexican folk music and wind ensemble music.

The documentary examines the intersection of Mexican and LGBTQ+ identities through Mariachi Arco•Iris de Los Angeles’ preparation for a collaborative concert with the Gay Freedom Band of Los Angeles’ concert band, and its aftermath.
